Course Overview

In compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (Operation of Cranes) Regulations, all lorry crane operators must undergo mandatory training conducted by accredited training centres.

This course will equip trainees with basic skills, knowledge and attitudes to operate lorry cranes safely according to the following modules

Legislation on lifting operations
Roles and responsibilities of personnel in lifting operations
Fundamentals of Lorry Crane Operations
Safe work practices
Communication methods and equipment
Standard Operating procedures
Emergency response procedures

Who Is This Course For?

Existing and Future lorry crane operators

Prerequisite

Learners must be above 18 years of age and are assumed to:

• Have a basic knowledge of the relevant sector of work
• Be able to listen and speak English
• Be able to read and write English
• Be able to manipulate numbers
• Be medically fit to work at height
