Apply Workplace Safety And Health In Logistics Transport
course will equip trainees with basic skills, knowledge and attitudes for working in process plants via the following modules:
PS1. Understand legal obligations in workplace safety and health
PS2. Identify hazards in logistics and transportation industry
PS3. Recognise industrial safety signs
PS4. Use appropriate personal protective equipment
PS5. Take appropriate safety precautions when working with different hazards
PS6. Take appropriate response measures in case of fire or emergency
8.5 hours 9am to 6pm
(includes theory, practical and assessment)

1)Statement of Attainment (SOA) from
SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and
2)Safety Pass from AAT Training Hub
(3 years validity: retake the course every 3 years)

Learners are expected to be self-directed, with a mind to acquire skills and knowledge. They should be able to apply the acquired skill & knowledge in the workplace safety and health practices to ensure the safety of oneself and others at work in the Logistics Industry
Learners must be above 18 years of age and are assumed to:
Have basic knowledge of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Know how to use basic PPE provided at workplace
Be able to follow written and oral work instructions
Be able to listen, read, speak and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System (ESS) level 2
Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System (ESS) level 2
