Modern warehouses and distribution centres rely heavily on reach trucks and stackers to maximise vertical storage and operate efficiently within narrow aisles and high-racking environments. While these machines significantly improve productivity, improper operation can lead to serious workplace accidents, damaged goods, racking collapse, and costly downtime.
The Operate Reach Truck Course is designed to equip operators with the knowledge, practical skills, and safety awareness required to operate reach trucks competently and confidently in real-world warehouse conditions. This course places strong emphasis on safe manoeuvring, load handling at height, stability principles, and hazard recognition in tight operational spaces.
Participants will be trained by experienced and certified lift truck trainers, who will guide them through both theoretical understanding and hands-on practical operation. The training covers essential aspects such as equipment inspection, safe driving techniques, correct stacking and retrieval procedures, emergency response actions, and compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.

All warehouse/logistics employees are recommended to attend this course and gain competency in operating the reach truck.
Candidates are reminded to bring their own steel capped safety shoes for practical training sessions.

Upon fulfilling the course requirements with a minimum attendance rate of 100% and demonstrating proficiency in the assessments, candidates will be awarded a Certificate of Completion from AAT Training Hub, and a nationally recognised WSQ Statement of Attainment
