Effective Communication: Skills for directing vehicle operators and site personnel clearly.
Traffic Management: Understanding how to manage vehicle movements safely within work zones.
Risk Assessment: Ability to identify hazards related to vehicle operations and implement safety measures.
Signaling Techniques: Proficiency in using hand signals and communication devices to guide vehicles safely.
Emergency Response: Knowledge of emergency procedures and protocols related to vehicle incidents on-site

Learners must be above 18 years of age and are assumed to:
Have basic knowledge of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Know how to use basic PPE provided at workplace
Be able to follow written and oral work instructions
Be able to listen, read, speak and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System (ESS) level 2
Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System (ESS) level 2
