Settling in Programme (SIP for MDW) course

Course Overview

The Settling-in Programme for Migrant Domestic Workers (SIP for MDW) course  is an essential initiative to help first-time MDWs adapt to life and work in Singapore.

It equips them with the knowledge and skills needed to meet cultural and social expectations in their roles.

As part of the SIP for MDW course , workers also learn critical safety tips, particularly for working safely in high-rise residential homes—a key aspect of their duties in Singapore.

This SIP for MDW course is available in multiple languages, including English, Bahasa Indonesia, Tagalog, and Burmese. For broader accessibility, international classes are offered with the curriculum translated into Bengali, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Khmer (Cambodian), and Thai.

By participating in the SIP for MDW course , migrant domestic workers are better prepared for a smooth and safe transition into their new environment.

Duration:9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Latecomers will not be admitted into the class.
Classes in English, Bahasa Indonesia, Burmese, and Tagalog are conducted Monday through Saturday.
