Operate Scissor Lift

This Scissor Lift Operator course will equip trainees with basic skills, knowledge and attitudes to operate scissor lifts safely via the following modules:

  • CE1: Prepare to carry out scissor lift operations

  • CE2: Carry out scissor lift operations

  • CE3: Conduct post-operation of scissor lifts


  • 9 hours 8:30am to 6:30pm
    (includes theory, practical and assessment)


  • English, Mandarin, Malay, Tamil

Learners must be above 18 years of age and are assumed to:

• Have a basic knowledge of the relevant sector of work
• Be able to listen and speak English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills (ES) level 3
• Be able to read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to ES level 3
• Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ES level 3; and
• Be medically fit to work at height

  • Standard operating procedures for post-operation of scissor lift
  • Routine post-operation checks
  • Reporting procedures for damage and defects
